MVC Resources is seeking an entry-level accounting/finance assistant in Seremban. The role focuses on daily data entry, AR processing, and accurate financial recordkeeping, supported by meticulous attention to detail.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is expected, and ability to work both independently and in a team is valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with relevant working experience will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial transactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle a high volume of transactions accurately.
• Responsible, willing to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily data entry and ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Handle accounts receivable (AR) transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor and reconcile promotional claims by matching claims against approved promotions and supporting documents.
• Verify transaction details, invoices, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Assist with other daily accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
