Job summary

Pave Bank, a licensed commercial bank regulated by the National Bank of Georgia, is seeking an experienced finance professional based in Malaysia (or Southeast Asia) to own accounting operations, controls, and reporting across group entities.

You will lead month-end close, intercompany reconciliations, statutory reporting, and audits, leveraging ERP systems and advanced Excel, with travel to Georgia as needed.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or finance operations.
• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm, especially in audit or advisory, preferred.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and ability to apply it to complex transactions.
• Experience with multi-entity or international group structures.
• Experience supporting external audits and regulatory reporting.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets and ERP systems; AI/automation familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarterly, and annual close across group entities.
• Manage day-to-day finance operations including invoicing and payments.
• Coordinate group audits and prepare supporting schedules.
• Maintain robust financial controls and documented policies.
• Support statutory/regulatory reporting across entities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and automation.
