Job summary

Valiram, a leading luxury goods and retail specialist based in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a Finance professional to oversee fixed asset processes, depreciation calculations, and project cost reviews. The role supports audits and ensures accurate asset accounting.

The candidate will work with cross‑functional teams on asset registers, FAR, and related schedules, ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Minimum 4 years of fixed asset experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and FAR.
• Compute depreciation and capital allowances.
• Review project costs and purchase requisitions for accuracy.
• Coordinate with tax, AP, and banking teams to ensure invoice compliance.
• Maintain asset registers and write-offs, with audit support.
• Assist in audit processes and ensure adherence to procedures.
