Job summary

AmBank Group in Malaysia seeks a Finance professional to prepare and review management and statutory reports ensuring compliance with MFRSs, SOPs, and Bursa guidelines.

The role liaises with external auditors and regulators, coordinates with stakeholders for timely financial reporting, and guides staff on regulatory requirements including SST, e-Invoicing, and taxation. Prior REIT knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
• Certified as a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA)
• 3–5 years in Finance/Auditing
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards and Regulatory Compliance
• Experience with regulatory submissions such as SST, e-Invoicing and Taxation
• Knowledge of REIT industry advantageous
• Experience with property management systems

Job description

• Prepare/review management reports/statutory reports to ensure compliance to MFRSs, Internal SOPs/Policies, Securities Commission’s Guideline on Listed REIT, Trust Deed, Bursa’s Listing Requirements.
• Liaise with external auditor, tax agent, regulatory bodies to ensure compliance of related requirements and regulations.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders within the Company for the timely submission and compilation of financial reporting.
• Plan and manage works of Finance Team to ensure timely and quality reporting of financial reporting to the relevant stakeholders.
• Guide Finance staff on matters relating to MFRSs and requirements of regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements:

• Ideal candidate should possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or any equivalent field of study.
• Certified as a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountant.
• At least to have 3 - 5 years of working experience in Finance/Auditing.
• Well versed in Accounting Standards and Regulatory Compliance.
• Experience in handling regulatory submission such as SST, e-Invoicing, Taxation.
• Knowledge in REIT industry will be an added advantage.
• Experience in using property management system.
