Job summary

SK intellix Malaysia is offering a Finance Internship for students pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or related fields. You will assist with data entry, maintain financial records, and support reporting and budgeting processes.

You will work closely with the Finance team, gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance documentation, and develop practical skills in a professional environment in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or related fields.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data entry, recording financial transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, management reports, and presentations.
• Assist in bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial account reconciliations.
• Perform basic financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering and updating financial data.
• Assist with audit preparations and compliance documentation.
• Conduct research on financial regulations, market trends, and industry developments.
• Maintain and update financial databases, spreadsheets, and reports.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and other departments to support daily operations.
• Provide administrative support to the Finance team when required.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive financial information.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
