Job summary

Great Pyramid is offering an internship opportunity for students and fresh graduates to gain exposure across multiple departments in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

You will assist in financial reporting, month-end activities, and basic accounting tasks using Bukku, while developing skills in Excel, data entry, and financial analysis. This internship provides hands-on learning in a corporate setting with guidance from the Finance team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly Profit & Loss statements and balance sheets.
• Support month end closing activities and ensure all transactions are properly recorded in Bukku.
• Perform data entry of invoices, receipts, and payments in the accounting system.
• Assist in bank reconciliation, petty cash recording, and expense verification.
• Help monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, including client collections and supplier payments.
• Support the preparation of management reports for internal review.
• Assist in checking service tax (SST) calculations and related supporting documents.
• Participate in audit preparation by organizing vouchers and supporting schedules.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all finance-related records.
• Perform basic financial analysis and assist in ad-hoc finance tasks assigned by the supervisor.
