Job summary

Transcosmos (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly motivated Finance Intern to join its Finance department in Kuala Lumpur. You will support daily financial operations, assist with core accounting tasks, and help analyze data to support business decisions in a fast-paced digital transformation environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with monthly/quarterly/annual statements, processing invoices in AP/AR, reconciling bank and ledgers, data entry, and budgeting support.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Good numerical aptitude and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting Support: Assist in preparing and formatting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and performance reports.
• Accounts Processing: Support AP/AR functions by processing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on discrepancies.
• Reconciliation: Assist in routine bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure records are accurate.
• Data Entry & Integrity: Input financial data into accounting software and Excel, ensuring data quality.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Help gather historical data to support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Document Management: Maintain an organized digital repository of financial documents and audit trails.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Support the wider Finance team with administrative tasks and financial analysis.
