Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Accounting Intern to assist the Finance Department in daily accounting operations, data entry, and documentation. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial record-keeping, account reconciliation, and accounting functions within a professional setting.

You will support month-end and year-end closing activities, assist in preparing financial reports, and liaise with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies in a structured finance

Qualifications

Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficient with Excel and familiar with accounting software.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records.
Enter invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries into the accounting system.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare financial reports, statements and schedules as required.
Perform bank reconciliation and verify supporting documents.
File, scan and organize accounting documents.
Liaise with other departments to collect and verify information.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
Handle other related duties as assigned by the Finance Executive or Supervisor.
