Job summary

BAT in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a Test Manager to lead our Test Management service delivery. You will own resource pooling, demand and capacity planning, assignment, and delivery tracking across project and BAU testing, acting as SPOC for test strategies, plans, execution, defects, reporting and closure.

You will manage governance, dashboards, and service reviews, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Testing/QA/Test Management or IT delivery governance and 3+ years coordinating with customers/vendors/testing delivery teams.
• Experience with project and BAU Test Management services, demand management, capacity planning, prioritization and service delivery tracking.
• Experience with ADO or equivalent test management and reporting tool.
• Experience preparing monthly target dashboards, executive reporting and service review packs.
• Good understanding of automation and performance testing concepts; strong Power BI for service reporting.

• Drive Test Management tool governance with assets, execution results, defects, dashboards, and metrics.
• Own consolidated performance reporting for all testing service providers, including KPI dashboards and service reviews.
• Manage collaborator relationships and communicate delivery status, risks, and performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for governance, reporting efficiency, service quality, and cross-service collaboration.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Own the Test Management service provider resource pool, including demand intake, capacity planning, allocation, and delivery tracking across both project-based and routine testing activities.
• Ensure the right testing resources are assigned based on priority, capability, and demand while supervising utilization, efficiency, onboarding, and partner commitments.
• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for Test Management delivery, governing test strategies, plans, execution, defect management, reporting, and closure activities.
• Coordinate testing readiness, achievements, risks, issues, dependencies, customer concerns, and adherence to testing standards and governance frameworks.
• Drive Test Management tool governance by ensuring accurate maintenance of test assets, execution results, defect records, evidence, dashboards, and reporting metrics.
• Own consolidated performance reporting for all testing service providers, including KPI dashboards, service health reporting, capacity reporting, and customer reviews.
• Handle collaborator relationships and serve as the primary issue point, providing clear communication on delivery status, risks, service health, and performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by improving governance, reporting efficiency, service quality, resource utilization, standardization, innovation, and cross-service collaboration.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field.
• More than 5 years working in Testing, Quality Assurance, Test Management or IT delivery governance and over 3 years coordinating with customers, vendors or testing delivery teams.
• Strong experience handling Project and BAU Test Management services. Shown experience in demand management, capacity planning, prioritization and service delivery tracking
• Strong experience with ADO or equivalent experience as a test management and reporting tool.
• Experience preparing monthly target dashboards, executive reporting and service review packs
• Good understanding of automation and performance testing concepts to support coordinated testing service reporting. Good Power BI knowledge to support all the service reporting.
• Testing and quality – Manual/Automation testing, test process management, and test governance and guidelines
• Behavioral skills - Stakeholder management, Social skills, Collaborator & Vendor management, conflict management, Decision making, collaborative, communication perfection.
