Job summary

McCain Foods International Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Finance Intern in Kuala Lumpur. You will join the Finance team on a full-time basis to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, forecasting and business analysis under the guidance of seasoned professionals.

You will support month‑end reports, budgeting activities and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities, while contributing to process improvements and automation within Finance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an interest in financial planning and business analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, performance dashboards, and management presentations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support data consolidation and validation for business reviews and reporting cycles.
• Assist in preparing ad‑hoc financial analyses and business case evaluations.

About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Intern to join our Finance team in Kuala Lumpur on a full-time basis. You will gain valuable hands‑on experience in various Finance functions whilst working alongside experienced professionals within the finance field.

As a Finance Intern, you will support the finance team in financial reporting, forecasting and business analysis activities. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals and gain exposure to commercial and operational finance processes that support strategic business decisions.
