Job summary

McCain Foods International Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Finance Intern in Kuala Lumpur. You will join the Finance team on a full-time basis to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, forecasting and business analysis under the guidance of seasoned professionals.

You will support month‑end reports, budgeting activities and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities, while contributing to process improvements and automation within Finance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an interest in financial planning and business analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, performance dashboards, and management presentations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support data consolidation and validation for business reviews and reporting cycles.
• Assist in preparing ad‑hoc financial analyses and business case evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and reconcile financial information.
• Maintain financial models, trackers, and reporting templates.
• Support process improvement initiatives and automation projects within the Finance function.
• Assist with documentation, financial records, and other administrative tasks as required.
