Job summary

Abers Resources Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable accounting and HR professional to support day-to-day financial and people processes in Malaysia.

The role covers accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, budgeting, audits, payroll, recruitment, records management, and training. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of experience, with proficiency in QuickBooks and HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in accounting and HR functions.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and HR practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and HRIS systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
• Conduct regular audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
• Oversee recruitment, interviews, and onboarding.
• Maintain employee records and payroll processing.
• Support employee engagement and performance management.
• Assist with benefits administration and labor-law compliance.
• Facilitate training and development programs.
