Job summary

DARABIF MEAT PROCESSING SDN BHD is seeking a motivated Finance Executive to join our finance team. The role supports day-to-day accounting across multiple group companies, handling AP/AR, invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

On-the-job training and guidance will be provided to develop skills in full-set accounting, with exposure to month-end close and tax documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong accounting foundation welcome.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with AP, AR and bank reconciliation.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in full-set accounting.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Responsible, organized, detail-oriented and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting operations across multiple entities within the Group.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Process supplier invoices, payments, receipts and staff claims.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.
• Assist with monitoring cash flow, outstanding payments and collections.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors and other relevant parties when required.
• Assist with audit and tax documentation.
• Ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
