MHA Consultancy Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a Finance Executive (Junior/Senior) for a hybrid role in Kuala Lumpur. The position offers exposure to full set accounting, AP/AR, month-end closing, and AI-powered workflows.

You will work with internal teams, customers and auditors, utilizing SQL Account, AutoCount, Excel, Power BI and AI tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Hands-on experience in Full Set / AP / AR.
• Experience with month-end closing and reconciliation.
• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Power Query/Power BI is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Full Set Accounting: Handle day-to-day accounting and maintain financial records.
• AP & AR: Manage end-to-end invoices, payments, billing and reconciliations.
• Month-End Closing: Perform journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Reconciliation: Bank and balance sheet reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Reporting & Consolidation: Prepare accounting reports and assist with Group Consolidation.
• Process Improvement: Use SQL Account / AutoCount / Excel & AI tools to improve efficiency.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams, customers, vendors and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

Full Set Accounting: Handle day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate financial records.

AP & AR: Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoices, payments, billing and reconciliations.

Month-End Closing: Handle month-end closing, including journals, accruals and prepayments.

Reconciliation: Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Reporting & Consolidation: Prepare accounting reports and assist with Group Consolidation.

Process Improvement: Use SQL Account / AutoCount / Excel & AI tools to improve accounting efficiency.

Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams, customers, vendors and auditors on accounting matters.

We're Looking For:

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Junior to Senior candidates with relevant accounting experience are welcome.

Hands-on experience in Full Set / AP / AR is preferred.

Good understanding of month-end closing and reconciliation.

Experience with SQL Account, AutoCount or other accounting systems.

Good Excel skills; Power Query / Power BI is a plus.

Familiarity with ChatGPT, Copilot or other AI tools is an advantage.

Good English communication skills; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently.
