Job summary

QUETTA BYTE SDN. BHD. is seeking an accounting professional in Malaysia (Johor) to manage invoicing, payments, closing activities, and monthly financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Familiar with Malaysian accounting and statutory requirements.
• Knowledge of e-Invoice, SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and tax matters is an advantage.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage for communication with Chinese-speaking management, clients, or suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process invoices, vouchers, receipts, credit notes, debit notes, and other accounting documents.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable and reconcile outstanding balances.
• Perform monthly closing activities and prepare financial reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
• Assist in cash flow reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Handle staff claims, expenses, and payment processing.
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded with approvals and documentation.
• Assist with e-Invoice, SST, tax, and other statutory compliance.
• Assist with payroll-related matters when required.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bank staff, customers, suppliers, and government authorities.
