Job summary

GAMER2GAMER SDN. BHD. is seeking a Finance Executive (Fresh Graduate) to support the full-set accounts across the group. You will prepare monthly reports, liaise with auditors, and ensure compliant, accurate financial records for timely closes.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, plus good English and Mandarin communication to collaborate with teams in China. Internship in finance is a plus; multiple tasks and deadlines are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Internship experience in finance, accounting will be added advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills. ( English and Mandarin required to effectively communicate with Mandarin colleagues in a different team in China )
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with HQ Finance to support full-set accounts for all entities in the group.
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports for month-end close.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and maintain audit-ready records.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and finalize accounts.
• Stay updated on local regulations, standards, and tax guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to automate or streamline workflows for accuracy.
• Assist superiors with other ad-hoc financial tasks.

Job description

Finance Executive ( Fresh Graduate Position)

• Work closely with the HQ Finance department to support and progressively take ownership of full-set accounts for all entities within the global group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, accuracy in financial records, and proper documentation.
• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial reports to facilitate timely month-end closing processes and meet corporate deadlines.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to address audit queries, provide requested documentation, and maintain audit-ready records in alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and prepare finalized accounts for managerial review.
• Stay updated on local financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax guidelines, ensuring timely implementation across group entities.
• Dedicate time to master the job scope within the allocated timeframe, provide constructive feedback on current financial reports, and proactively identify opportunities to automate or streamline workflows for improved efficiency and data accuracy.
• Assist superiors with other ad-hoc financial tasks.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
