Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a finance professional in Kuala Lumpur to support audit and tax functions for a construction company based at Wisma UOA, Bukit Bintang. You will handle document preparation, liaise with external auditors and the China head office, manage project financial records, and coordinate cross-departmentally to ensure complete audit and tax documentation.

Requires 1–2 years external audit or tax experience, construction finance familiarity, Mandarin proficiency, and strong

Qualifications

• 1–2 years external audit / tax experience
• Understand construction industry finance documents
• Experience liaising with external auditors (audit outsourced)
• Proficient in Mandarin (spoken & written) for China HQ communications
• Proficient in Excel and basic accounting software

Responsibilities

• Liaise with external audit firm for full audit process (prepare documents, answer queries, follow up until audit completion)
• Handle tax matters, tax submission, tax records and liaise with authorities
• Manage and support China HQ account set (reporting, documents, coordination with China)
• Prepare, check and organize construction financial documents: payment vouchers, invoices, contracts, project cost, supporting records
• Coordinate across departments to collect complete audit & financial documents
• Maintain proper filing of financial, audit and tax records
• Perform other finance & ad-hoc duties assigned by superior
