Job summary

Fuelfinance is hiring a Finance Engineer to transform manual finance processes into scalable, AI-supported workflows. You will lead 2–3 implementation projects for startup clients, designing finance systems and automating reporting, forecasting, and controls.

The role blends Finance, Accounting, Systems, Automation, and AI, with direct client engagement and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll work on integrations with accounting systems, CRMs, and data warehouses, while enabling

Qualifications

5+ years implementing finance systems or automation with clear business impact.
Hands-on experience building production-ready AI workflows or prompts.
Experience with automation platforms Make/n8n/Zapier/Workato.
AP/AR, month-end close, reporting, or financial controls understanding.

Responsibilities

Lead client implementations end-to-end from discovery to go-live.
Design and build scalable finance systems following internal standards.
Develop workflows for reporting, forecasting, month-end, reconciliations, and controls.
Automate repetitive finance work using AI tools and integrations.
Coordinate data across accounting systems, CRMs, payments, BI tools, and data warehouses.
Balance multiple active implementations while meeting deadlines.
Collaborate with Engineering on APIs and data pipelines.
