Job summary

Hotel Equatorial Penang seeks an accomplished Finance Director to lead financial strategy and operations for its Penang property. You will drive pre-opening budgets, cash-flow planning, and procurement controls while implementing robust internal controls and reporting frameworks.

You will oversee accounting, payroll, taxation, treasury, and financial reporting, and integrate financial, procurement, payroll, POS, and property-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-opening budgets, cash-flow planning, procurement controls, and financial readiness.
• Establish finance policies, internal controls, reporting procedures, approval limits, and audit frameworks.
• Oversee accounting, purchasing, credit, cost control, payroll, taxation, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Implement and integrate financial, procurement, payroll, POS, and property-management systems.
• Monitor pre-opening and capital expenditure, working capital, revenue, costs, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory, taxation, audit, and corporate-governance requirements.
• Recruit, develop, and lead the Finance team.
