Job summary

NEOSCIENCE SDN. BHD. in Malaysia seeks a data/ business analyst to produce monthly management reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses. You will analyze trends, support budgeting and forecasting, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful BI solutions.

The role requires 2–3 years’ experience in business analysis or data analytics, strong Excel/Power BI skills, and clear English communication for stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related field.
• Proven 2-3 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Data Analyst, or related
• Experience in management reporting, dashboard development, KPI analysis, and business performance reporting
• Knowledge of data analyst, reporting, and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other BI tools
• Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities independently
• Experience monitoring and analyzing P&L performance

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and analyses for management meetings and decision-making
• Analyze trends, KPIs, and operational data to identify opportunities, risks and improvements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning with relevant analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions
• Ensure data integrity and governance across reports and metrics
• Facilitate cross-functional project meetings and track timelines
• Identify process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy
• Support digitalization and transformation projects including UAT and stakeholder coordination
• Monitor P&L performance and identify variances and opportunities
• Undertake ad hoc analyses and strategic projects as required

Job description

Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and business performance analyses to provide insights for management meetings and decision-making

Analyze business trends, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational data to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement

Support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and strategic planning activities by providing relevant analysis and business intelligence

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver meaningful reporting and analytical solutions

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance across reports, dashboards, and performance metrics

Facilitate cross-functional project meetings, track deliverables, and monitor action plans to ensure timely execution

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency, automation, and data accuracy

Support digitalization and business transformation projects, including requirement gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), stakeholder coordination, and solution implementation

Monitor and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) performance to identify business trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

Undertake ad hoc business analyses, special assignments, and strategic projects as required

Key Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related field

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Data Analyst, or related

Proven experience in management reporting, dashboard development, KPI analysis, and business performance reporting

Knowledge of data analyst, reporting, and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools

Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills

Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities independently

Experience monitoring and analyzing Profit & Loss (P&L) performance

Self-driven, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
