SF TECHLOGIS SDN BHD is seeking a Finance Contract professional to join our finance team on a contract basis for either 6 months or 1 year. This is a crucial role that will provide essential support to our financial operations and reporting functions. Based in Senai, Johor, this contract position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the financial health and strategic decision‑making of our organisation. The role is ideal for finance professionals looking for contract‑based work with the flexibility to develop expertise across financial accounting and reporting processes.

What you’ll be doing

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledger accounts, and reconciliations

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards

Review and verify financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Conduct account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure data integrity

Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment management

Maintain financial documentation and records in an organised and secure manner

Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures and adjustments

Provide support to the finance team in preparing reports and analysis for management review

Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on financial matters as required

What we’re looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably 2+ years in a similar role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting requirements

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel with strong data analysis capabilities

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

Understanding of relevant Malaysian accounting regulations and tax requirements is advantageous

Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, MICPA, or CPA would be beneficial
