A leading AI data foundry is seeking a professional to oversee business operations and financial planning. The role involves preparing financial reports, managing key inputs, and supporting project accounting efforts while collaborating with various departments. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and over 5 years of experience in business management and financial insights. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft products are essential for success in this dynamic role.
The Business Operation & Financial Planning and Analysis (BO&FPA) team is the go-to team in a business. The team, as the gatekeeper, helps various departments within a company coordinate to meet the end goal. This job includes monitoring the contract negotiation process, addressing budget matters, understanding general business operations, and guiding work teams for projects. You will also analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making, and to ensure the company operates efficiently.
Work with large data sets to prepare P&L forecast reports and variance analyses.
Manage key P&L inputs and provide financial insights to support Leadership team.
Support end-to-end project accounting for delivery teams, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Take key ownership of business operational responsibilities, including supporting the entire Opportunity-to-Cash (O2C) cycle, ensuring smooth execution from opportunity, project setup, billing, and revenue recognition.
Develop and track key business performance metrics and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Delivery, Accounting, HR, and Sales, to understand business needs and provide timely financial & business support.
Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses, and assist with special requests, projects, and financial presentations for management. Serve as a trusted operational and financial partner to your assigned business teams.
Bachelor's degree holder.
5+ years business management/operations experience; financial management, and/or program management.
A can-do positive attitude - good judgment, tact, diplomacy, integrity, patience, and professionalism in all interactions.
Proven experience collaborating with/influencing leaders to maintain consistency and scale processes across teams.
Expert communicator with strong written and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas, timelines, and mediate between stakeholders. Exceptional ability to bridge different perspectives.
Action-oriented self-starter capable of operating in a fast-paced environment and thrives on competing deliverables.
Adept at deriving themes and clarity out of ambiguous situations and adaptable to change.
Ability to make decisions and solve problems.
Ability to approach the business with a growth mindset - genuine desire to help push the business forward.
Ability to understand complex data and reporting needs. Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, etc.
