Job summary

World Vision Malaysia Bhd is hiring a Finance Associate to join the Finance team at our Kelana Jaya office in Selangor. This full-time role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting, and ensuring donor/compliance requirements are met.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration with 2–4 years of relevant experience, and has strong Excel and accounting system skills. English proficiency is essential, Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, auditing, or a similar role.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely financial records in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring to ensure financial sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, donor requirements, and internal financial controls.
• Assist in maintaining proper documentation and audit trails for financial transactions.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
• Track financial trends, variances, and expenditure patterns.
• Provide basic financial analysis and insights to support departmental and management decision-making.
• Support timely and accurate reporting to donors and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in internal and external audit processes, including preparation of schedules and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements and follow up on audit findings.
