Job summary

Mingle Group in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee daily finance and accounting operations for our hostel and F&B businesses. You will prepare and review monthly P&L, balance sheet and management reports, monitor and analyse sales, COGS, payroll and operating expenses, and manage month-end closing with reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with hands-on accounting.
• Strong Excel skills with XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Knowledge of AutoCount Accounting System is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job description

Support the Finance Manager and management team on ad-hoc projects and analysis

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with solid, hands-on accounting experience

Strong Excel skills, especially XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables

Knowledge of AutoCount Accounting System is an added advantage

Good attention to detail and able to spot when something doesn't quite add up

Able to work independently, manage deadlines and take ownership of your work

Hospitality or F&B experience is an added advantage
