Job summary

China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn. Bhd. (CCCC Malaysia) is seeking a Financial Assistant to support daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, data entry and filing, based in Sabah, Tenom.

The role demands accuracy, independence and teamwork to ensure smooth financial operations. You will prepare vouchers, assist with reconciliations, assist with monthly reports, coordinate with departments and suppliers, monitor budgets and project-related

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good communication, organisational and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payment vouchers, invoices, claims and other financial documents
• Assist with bank reconciliation, petty cash management and monitoring of financial transactions
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, expense summaries and project expenditure records
• Coordinate with other departments, suppliers and subcontractors regarding invoices, payments and financial matters
• Assist in monitoring budgets, cash flow and project-related expenses
• Support internal and external audits by preparing the necessary financial documents
• Ensure financial transactions comply with company procedures and applicable requirements
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager
