CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY (M) Sdn. Bhd. (CCCC Malaysia) is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage monthly and yearly accounting processing for construction project accounts, with strong focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

You will handle bank reconciliations, invoicing, AR/AP, filing, and liaison with auditors and tax agents, while ensuring compliance and smooth retrieval of documents. Proficiency in AutoCount, Excel and Mandarin help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance or LCCI required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCount and MS Office.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, BM and English.
• Meticulous with strong sense of responsibility and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handle monthly and yearly project accounting processing.
• Perform bank reconciliations, invoicing, and AR/AP.
• Ensure proper filing and retrieval of accounting documents.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external parties.
• Ad hoc tasks assigned by Head of Department.

Job description

Responsible for the monthly and yearly accounting processing of the construction project accounts, mainly on project basis.

To ensure the bank reconciliation, invoices & receipts, account receivable and payable are performed and recorded in proper manner.

Ensure proper filing of accounting documents to facilitate smooth retrieval of required documents and information.

Liaise with external parties such as Auditor, Tax agent etc. Routine accounting related tasks such as closing accounts, e-invoicing generated, vouchers/claims checking etc.

Any ad hoc task assigned by the Head of Department from time to time.

Job Requirements

Possess a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification (e.g., LCCI).

At least 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred.

Proficient in accounting software operations, such as AutoCount.

Skilled in using Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other office applications.

Able to listen, speak, read, and write in Mandarin, BM, and English."We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers."

Meticulous, responsible, with good communication skills, strong sense of responsibility, and able to complete work tasks on time.

Possess solid fundamental accounting knowledge and financial reporting related knowledge.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
