Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification or partial qualification is an added advantage.
• Relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to speak Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Account Manager in overseeing daily accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, journals, and financial documentation.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Monitor customer payments, outstanding balances, and supplier invoices.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and relevant schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow reports.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper supporting documents are maintained.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks, and other external parties when required.
• Assist in audit and tax preparation and provide the necessary supporting documents.
• Ensure accounting transactions comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Assist in improving accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures.
• Support the Account Manager in financial analysis and other accounting-related projects.
