Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced finance professional in Johor to manage daily accounting tasks and support month-end closing. You will process vouchers, perform bank reconciliations, and handle AR/AP while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

The role requires at least 3 years in accounting, fluency in Mandarin, and the ability to work independently in a computerized environment. Based in Malaysia, you will liaise with auditors and tax agents as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience within the same field and familiar in a computerized environment.
• Able to work independently without close supervision.
• Fluent in Mandarin and able to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the company's cash flow and manage petty cash transactions.
• Prepare, review, and process Payment Vouchers (PV), Journal Vouchers (JV), and other accounting entries.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and maintain intercompany schedules.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and audit preparation.
