Agilent Technologies Inc. in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Analyst to provide end-to-end compliance support.

You will own statutory reporting deliverables and local tax activities, bridging accounting and tax, coordinating with external advisors, and reducing risk from fragmented ownership. The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, professional qualification preferred, 4+ years in statutory reporting/audit, strong Excel, and ERP experience (SAP) in an MNC setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in statutory reporting, audit, or financial compliance.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or MIA strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and the linkage between statutory accounts and tax computations.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple compliance deadlines, and own assigned entities.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and related disclosures for assigned entities in accordance with US GAAP, local GAAP, and statutory requirements.
• Own end-to-end statutory audit coordination for assigned entities, including planning, preparation of supporting schedules, auditor queries, and timely close-out.
• Support local tax compliance activities for assigned entities, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, and stamp duty matters.
• Prepare and reconcile tax-related schedules supporting statutory audit, tax computations, and year-end filings.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on return preparation, revised estimates, tax authority queries, and tax audit support while maintaining data quality.
• Work with Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and shared service teams to resolve cross-functional issues affecting statutory reporting or tax compliance.
• Identify gaps, handoff risks, or control weaknesses across statutory and tax processes and propose improvements for timeliness and audit readiness.
• Maintain clear documentation and support packages for statutory and tax deliverables to ensure audit defensibility.
