Job summary

Baker Hughes in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Statutory Senior Analyst to support external auditors and US GAAP deliverables within the Consolidations team. You will coordinate statutory and IFRS/US GAAP reporting and drive process improvements.

The role requires a BSc in accounting/finance or ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA with 4–5 years Big 4 experience, knowledge of internal controls, and fluency in English and Mandarin. SAP, Hyperion, and Oracle experience is a plus; occasional flexible working is available.

Qualifications

BSc in Accounting/Finance or ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA qualifications.
4–5 years of Big 4 audit or statutory finance planning/analysis experience.
Knowledge of Statutory IFRS/US GAAP and India GAAP accounting.
Experience with internal controls audits and tax audits.
Fluent in English and Mandarin; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Review management and statutory financial statements and coordinate audits.
Provide financial statements and audit packs to auditors per local requirements.
Collaborate with functional, business, tax, legal and operations teams.
Perform variance analysis and root-cause analysis for data quality.
Lead reporting deliverables to Consolidation & Reporting with quality and timeliness.
