Job summary

MT Relocations Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a General Ledger Analyst to support monthly close, journal entries and intercompany reconciliations. You will liaise with auditors and tax agents, prepare MMA reports, and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.

The role involves preparing pre-audit files, posting fixed asset entries and assisting with ad-hoc finance tasks as part of a busy Shared Service Center serving UK/US entities.

Qualifications

• Prepare monthly trial balance and identify adjustments.
• Post month-end journal entries and bank entries for dormant entities.
• Intercompany reconciliation and weekly updates.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax agents for queries.
• Prepare MMA reports and balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse overhead recharges monthly and prepare supporting schedules.
• Prepare pre-audit files and assist during audits.
• Post monthly journal entries and maintain accurate records.
• Perform fixed asset postings: additions, disposals and depreciation.
• Assist on adhoc finance tasks as required.

Analyse/review all overhead recharges monthly

Prepare pre-audit files

Liaise with auditors & tax agent, resolve audit & tax queries

Post month-end journal entries

Post bank entries for dormant companies and update intercompany reconciliation weekly

Prepare monthly trial balance, identify and prepare adjustment journals

Prepare Monthly Management Accounts (MMA) Reports

Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliation monthly

Identify required adjustments and prepare journals

Monthly Fixed Asset management: Addition, Disposal & Depreciation postings

Assist onadhoc tasks
