Job summary

Adecco Malaysia is seeking a Finance Analyst in Kuala Lumpur to establish entity structures for projects and manage budgets. You will coordinate across functions, maintain financial data, and prepare documentation for project handovers.

The role requires a degree in Finance/Accounting and 3–5 years in finance, with strong Excel skills and analytical abilities. You will collaborate with multiple departments to drive costing and transfer pricing compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, or related fields with progressive responsibilities.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and functions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish legal entity structures for newly awarded projects and coordinate setup activities across multiple functions.
  • Set up and maintain project financial data within internal financial management systems, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and transfer pricing requirements.
  • Prepare project financial files and documentation prior to project handover.
  • Conduct detailed budget reviews to identify execution risks, opportunities, and cost variances.
  • Prepare budget release packages, including financial summaries, pricing analysis, transfer pricing details, and system setup documentation.
  • Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional budget release meetings.
  • Partner with commercial teams to identify and close process gaps within project financial workflows.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.
