Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting/Finance professional to manage daily records, payroll processing, and filing, while liaising with external accountants. The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Excel and local accounting software.

The ideal candidate will work independently in a structured environment and communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, with Mandarin preferred. This is a full-time on-site position based in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience; bookkeeping and payroll experience is preferred.
• Familiar with accounting software such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount, or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, organized, meticulous, and able to work independently.
• Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin; priority for Mandarin speaker.

Responsibilities

• Record daily sales, expenses, and bank transactions, and perform monthly bank reconciliation.
• Process monthly payroll, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB submissions.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents, receipts, invoices, and staff records.
• Handle general administrative duties and liaise with external accountants/auditors when required.
