Job summary

Extreme Market Place Sdn Bhd, a Tan Chong Group subsidiary, seeks an Assistant Manager, Finance & Admin in Segambut. The role anchors accounts payable, monthly reporting, cost reviews and tax/audit support in a busy finance team.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in accounting/finance with 3+ years in accounting, solid Excel/ERP skills, and strong accuracy, confidentiality, and coordinating abilities within a corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• ACCA, CIMA, CPA or progress towards qualification is an advantage.
• At least three years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP accounting systems; Infor LN experience is a plus.
• Strong accuracy, confidentiality, and deadline management.
• Good communication and coordination with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable and supplier payments: review invoices, supporting documents and payment schedules; ensure timely payments after approvals.
• Reconciliations and accounting records: bank, creditor and intercompany reconciliations; investigate differences and supporting journal entries.
• Financial and management reporting: weekly sales loss, monthly expenses and sales analyses, HQ reports; highlight variances and corrective actions.
• Overseas costing and claims review: check overseas purchase costings; review staff mileage and travelling claims for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Audit and tax support: assist with audit schedules and tax schedules; coordinate information with KPMG, Group Tax and Company Secretary.
• Treasury and Group compliance: liaison with Group Treasury on payments and intercompany transactions; maintain RRPT updates.
