Job summary

VS Industry Bhd is seeking an Account & Finance Assistant Officer to manage daily accounting operations and support the finance team in Kulai, Johor. You will liaise with vendors and customers on processing, reconciliations, and issue resolution, while ensuring timely task completion.

The role involves variance and cash flow analysis, month-end and year-end closings, and compliance with internal controls and company policies. SAP knowledge is an added advantage for the position.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, statistics, economics or related field
• Knowledge of SAP system is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations for the assigned entity
• Liaise with vendors and customers on account processing, reconciliation, and issue resolution
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks
• Perform variance analysis between actual and projected payments, including identifying key variances
• Conduct cash flow analysis to provide insights into cash movement drivers and support decision-making
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
