Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an accounting officer to handle daily accounting operations for the assigned entity and to liaise with vendors and customers on account processing and issue resolution. You will work with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks.

The role requires performing variance and cash flow analyses, supporting month-end and year-end closings, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations for the assigned entity
• Liaise with vendors and customers on account processing, reconciliation, and issue resolution
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks
• Perform variance analysis between actual and projected payments, including identifying key variances
• Conduct cash flow analysis to provide insights into cash movement drivers and support decision-making
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
