Job summary

SimpliSolar | LeveragEdge Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an independent, hands-on Finance & Accountant to lead the full Finance & Accounts function for an EPCC company specializing in solar PV systems, BESS, and related infrastructure projects.

The role involves managing month-end close, project-based accounting, cash-flow planning, and banking engagements while coaching a junior finance team and supporting top management with financial controls and reporting.

Qualifications

Experience delivering finance and accounts for EPCC projects.
Strong understanding of project-based accounting and revenue recognition.
Experience with bank facilities, cash-flow management, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including balance sheet and cash-flow summaries.
Manage month-end and quarter-end closing with accruals, provisions, prepayments, and GL integrity.
Establish and maintain project budgets, track costs, WIP schedules, and margins; implement revenue recognition.
Oversee cash-flow forecasting, banking liaison, and loan facilities; manage banking relationships.
Ensure statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance; coordinate audits and tax computations.
Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable; coach junior team members; enforce controls.
