Job summary

Y&G Corporation Bhd is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented individual to join our Finance & Accounts team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The role covers the full set of accounts and day-to-day accounting activities, including monthly management accounts and financial reporting, tax computations, and cash flow monitoring.

The ideal candidate holds a Degree/Diploma in Accounting or Finance, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in property development is an advantage.
Knowledge of MFRS, Malaysian taxation and statutory requirements is helpful.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

Handle the full set of accounts and day-to-day accounting operations.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Perform accounts payable and general ledger functions.
Prepare bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and audit schedules.
Prepare tax computations and information for tax submission.
Monitor cash flow and payments.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and other relevant parties.
Assist in other finance and accounting matters as assigned by Management.
