Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to manage full cycle accounting activities, including accounts payable, fixed assets, and general ledger. You will verify and record vendor invoices, process payments, monitor due dates, and assist with month-end close and audits.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in accounting and 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, with knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle full spectrum of accounting functions including AP, fixed assets and GL.
• Verify, process and record vendor invoices timely in line with policies.
• Prepare and process vendor payments, staff claims, withholding tax and other payments.
• Monitor due dates and ensure timely settlement of invoices and recurring payments.
• Prepare payment vouchers and maintain records of all outgoing payments.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
