This full-time role is based in Setia Alam and focuses on managing client accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic objectives. Duties include preparing financial statements, recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, monitoring receivables/payables, and liaising with clients to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or account management
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional integrity and commitment to confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Preferred: Familiarity with property or construction industry accounting practices

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate account reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements and accounting reports in accordance with accounting standards
• Record and process financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and journal entries
• Monitor account receivables and payables to ensure timely collections and payments
• Liaise with clients to resolve account queries and discrepancies
• Maintain comprehensive account documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Identify and report financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
• Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and financial analyses
• Ensure all financial records are accurately recorded and securely filed
