• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional integrity and confidentiality.
• Experience in the trading or import-export industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recording and posting financial transactions to the general ledger and subsidiary accounts
• Reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and identifying discrepancies
• Preparing and processing invoices, purchase orders, and payment documentation
• Maintaining organised and comprehensive financial records and documentation
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Performing bank reconciliations and cash management activities
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding financial matters
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
• Supporting audit activities and providing necessary documentation as required
