Zusammenfassung

Teradyne is seeking a senior field installation engineer to lead on-site deployments of high‑speed digital and optical test systems at Penang sites. You will install, bring‑up, calibrate, and validate installations while coordinating with global engineering, manufacturing, and service teams.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, ensure adherence to product specifications, and train customers and internal staff on safe operation and maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Photonics or related field.
• 8–10 years of field installation, product support or related experience.
• Proven ability to install, integrate, commission and obtain customer acceptance for complex systems.
• Deep knowledge of high-speed digital and optical technologies, signal integrity, BER, jitter and optical interfaces.

Aufgaben

• Lead on-site installation, integration, bring-up, commissioning and customer acceptance of high-speed digital and optical test systems.
• Verify site readiness, utilities, networking, cabling, software/firmware revisions and documentation before deployment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, software, firmware, signal integrity and optical issues to root cause.
• Communicate status, risks, dependencies and recovery plans to customers and internal teams.
• Travel extensively to domestic and international customer sites and maintain installation records.
