Job summary

Toyota Malaysia is seeking a Technical Consultant to take ownership of Repair Support and EDER activities, providing on-site technical and field support at outlets to minimize vehicle downtime and safeguard customer safety.

You will attend to technical enquiries from internal customers, guide technicians on diagnostics, coordinate with manufacturing to obtain solutions, and promote Fix It Right and other quality initiatives across Toyota and Lexus service dealers.

Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of Repair Support and EDER activities
• Attend to all technical enquiries from internal customers and ensure issues are resolved timely, efficiently and safely
• Provide on-site technical and field support at outlets to minimize vehicle downtime; assuring customers' safety as priority
• Dealers staff technical development towards self-reliant
• Guide technicians on all types of diagnosis and ensure they are all equipped with the knowledge and skill level to perform complex diagnosis, etc. This includes coordinating with manufacture to get the solutions for the outlets
• Inspect and qualify local accessories for new vehicles to meet manufacture standards, work alongside to support aftersales marketing activities and promotions
• Fast respond and resolution of diagnosis support to all Toyota and Lexus service dealers
• Technical staff skill enhancement programs
• Promote Fix It Right activities
• Enhance EDER activities thru Field Technical Report (FTR) issuance
• Customer handling support, TMC and top management escalated complaint
