Job summary

FALCON EQUIPMENT TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD is seeking a Service Technician / Field Service Engineer to install, commission and troubleshoot laser cutting machines and CNC machinery at customer sites. You will perform servicing, maintenance and repairs, diagnosing mechanical and electrical systems.

The role requires travel to client locations, basic machine training to customers, and preparation of service reports. Fresh graduates with strong technical interest are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel to customer sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and troubleshoot Laser Cutting Machines and CNC machinery.
• Perform machine servicing, maintenance and repair at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control system problems.
• Troubleshoot machine alarms, servo systems, sensors and motors.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and machine inspections.
• Provide technical support and basic machine training to customers.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records after completing service jobs.
• Coordinate with customers and internal technical team to resolve machine issues.
• Travel to customer sites when required.

Education

Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related field
