Job summary

Botsync Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive Forward Deployed Engineer to join our growing team. You will lead end-to-end deployment of robotics and automation projects across Southeast Asia, including on-site installation, commissioning, and post-deployment support.

In this hands-on role, you will coordinate with customers and internal teams, manage project schedules and risks, and ensure safety and quality standards while delivering solutions that meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in robotics, automation, or industrial systems.
• Proficiency in ROS and Python.
• Strong hands-on technical skills including mechanical assembly, soldering, and crimping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% field / 30% office.
• English mandatory; Mandarin an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of robotics and automation projects across Southeast Asia.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning, and activation activities at customer sites.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Ensure projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and communications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical oversight for system integration, testing, and SAT activities.
• Support knowledge transfer and deployment readiness reviews.
