Job summary

Ziantech Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and organize computing devices on-site and remotely across multiple locations in Malaysia. You will perform annual preventive maintenance, OS reinstalls, and hardware replacements while maintaining digital Field Service Reports.

The role requires 2+ years in desktop support, strong Windows and Office skills, and a valid D-class driving license. Travel and overnight stays may be required in district or island locations.

Qualifications

• Must have SKM/IT Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years in desktop support or tooling maintenance.
• Proficient with Windows 10/11, MS Office, and basic networks.
• Hold a Class D driving license and willing to travel/settle overnight.
• No criminal record; willing to sign NDA and comply with safety rules.
• CompTIA A+ or similar certification is preferred.
• Field travel required; equipment provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Repair and organize PC, laptop, printer, scanner, and projector on location and remotely.
• Carry out annual preventive operations with diagnostics and inventory audits.
• Reinstall OS, re-enroll in Active Directory, and configure network printers.
• Replace spare parts and record serial numbers of components.
• Complete the Field Service Report (FSR) digitally on the same day.
• Move to branches in settlement zones, including areas outside the city and islands.
