Job summary

Swisslog in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electro-mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance for local customers. You will inspect parts for wear, lubricate moving components, repair or replace faulty parts, perform mechanical alignment, and test equipment after service to ensure it is safe and ready for use.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in electro-mechanical installation, commissioning and customer support for industrial/process equipment.
• Independent and able to work under tight schedules and odd hours.
• Proactive with strong customer and team focus.
• Proficiency in English (oral & written).
• Experience with automated material handling systems is a plus.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Excel).
• Good health and fitness, safe at height and compliant with safety regulations.
• Willing to travel domestically and overseas on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular electro-mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance for local customers.
• Inspect parts for wear and tear or defects.
• Lubricate moving parts.
• Repair or replace faulty parts.
• Mechanical alignment.
• Record results before and after maintenance.
• Operate and test equipment after maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Carry out basic electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Provide daily report covering incidents and spare parts changes.
