CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD in Malaysia is looking for a Civil Technical Engineer to join the KUTS project, focusing on planning, coordination and execution of road, bridge and civil works. You will study drawings, prepare method statements, coordinate with project managers, and ensure compliance with JKR/ASTM/BS standards while maintaining safety and quality.

Fresh graduates may apply; 1–3 years’ relevant experience preferred; proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, plus English and Bahasa

Qualificações

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in road/bridge/civil infra projects.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in planning, coordination and execution of civil works for KUTS project.
• Study, review and interpret drawings, specs and contract documents.
• Prepare method statements, work procedures and submittals for approval.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control in line with standards.
• Monitor progress and address deviations and non-compliance.
• Develop construction methodologies and scheduling improvements.
• Prepare drawings, quantity take-offs, material requisitions and reports.
• Attend site meetings to discuss progress and technical matters.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety, environment and policies.
• Provide guidance to site personnel and junior engineers.
