Job summary

WAKOMAS Chemical Sdn Bhd is seeking a Manager – Fertilizer Trading to lead the sales and trading of fertilizer products. The role focuses on managing customer accounts, exploring new business opportunities and driving sustainable sales growth with manufacturers and end-users.

The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, experience in petrochemical or commodity trading, and proven negotiation and relationship-building skills. Willingness to travel locally and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in fertilizer, chemical, petrochemical, commodity or international trading.
• Strong commercial acumen and market understanding.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage fertilizer trading, sales and marketing activities to achieve targeted sales volume, revenue and profitability.
• Develop new customers, markets and opportunities while maintaining key client relationships.
• Monitor global and regional fertilizer markets, pricing trends and market developments.
• Lead and coach the trading/sales team to achieve KPIs and business objectives.
