WAKOMAS Chemical Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Manager – Fertilizer Trading to lead fertilizer sales and trading, manage key customer accounts, and identify new business opportunities in international markets.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, knowledge of petrochemical trading, and proven negotiation and leadership skills to drive sustainable growth and profitability across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, Chemistry, Agriculture or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in fertilizer, chemical, petrochemical or international trading.
• Strong understanding of trading, pricing, and market analysis.
• Proven ability to develop new customers and profitable business.

Responsibilities

• Manage fertilizer trading, sales and marketing activities to reach targets.
• Develop new customers and markets while maintaining key relationships.
• Monitor global fertilizer markets, pricing trends, and competition.
• Negotiate pricing, volumes, payment terms, and contracts.
• Coordinate with Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics for deal execution.
• Lead and coach the trading/sales team to meet KPIs.
